Over the next 10 days (well there are 5 left), I’ll be sharing some ideas with you on ’10 Ways to Make a Difference’.
Each Day, one idea.
ONE: List Elukholweni Farm School on your MySchool Card as a beneficiary.
TWO: Give Just 1 Hour
THREE: Host something
FOUR: Fix something
FIVE: Plant something
It is Saturday morning in my world.
Outside mowers are noisily eating lawn & avid gardeners are tending beds & planting seedlings in anticipation of Spring.
My thoughts are with Elukholweni Farm School.
I’m thinking: won’t it be amazing if this school had trees & gardens reminiscent of an Ivy-league educational establishment.
Better yet, if amongst the trees & agapanthas, in their welcome shade, would be growing onions and pumpkin and beetroot, which could contribute to the school’s lunch-time menu?
Perhaps you love gardening?
Perhaps you’re into organic vegetable gardening?
Perhaps you could get a group of friends together & while you spend a few hours doing exactly what you love, you could make an immense difference, affecting our bit of world?
It shouldn’t be effort.
It could be a little bit of fun, something awesome you do alongside people you love, coming to love some others, whom you would not meet in the ordinary run of your life?
The heritage you could leave.
The difference you could make.
The impact you could have, through the simple act of planting something.
