It’s not a War

Life is not a war.

It is a gift.

To be received.

We strive.

We’re filled to the brim with fear.

About failing.

Not achieving.

When we open ourselves to receive.

The gift.

There is no loss.

No failure.

No thing to be afraid about.

To worry over.

Do your best.

But not from fear.

Or in a battle to grasp that unobtainable.

Just to express your being.

To be the gift you have received.

It is an ancient way.

The way of the gift.

It negates loss.

It opens life.

And happiness.

And so, as I learn to receive this life, may you receive it too.  Not according to your misplaced expectations.  According to a greater abundance,  which exceeds the falsity of stuff’s security.

May we receive with gratitude.

This moment.

May we see its fulness.

And smile.

No longer at war.

No longer battling.

To have.

What was not measured.

  1. Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon everyday.
It will always be interesting to read articles from other authors and
    practice something from their sites.
