礼品之路 ( Lǐpǐn zhī lù ) – The Gift of What I learnt in 2014

image

When we leave what is familiar and routine, we create space to learn.

These few things I learnt in the past 12 months, as we traveled from Nelson Mandela Bay, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, to spend time in Jiamusi City, in the far Northern province of Heilongjiang, in mainland China:

ONE – Happiness is found in the realization of connection or at-one-ment.

TWO – Life is not a war, it is a gift.

THREE – I am enough & I have enough.

FOUR – If I keep on wanting, happiness will keep on illuding me.

FIVE – To embrace gratitude, is to become entirely free of anger & disappointment.

SIX – It is okay, amidst loss & gain & loss again.

SEVEN – It is better to hold loosely.

EIGHT – To forgive is to forget as well.

NINE – Pain is a gift.

TEN – Our words create. Our world, our being, our future & even something in the people we spend time with.

What did you learn in the past 12 months?

To learn, is to live.

Along 礼品之路 ( Lǐpǐn zhī lù ), The Way of the Gift, we see that we receive, in abundance.

May you see.

And be happy.🙂
