There is a blasmephous lie (sold, yes sold, as Truth)

There is a blasphemous lie.

Sold, yes sold as Truth.

By churches and religions.

They tell us, once we choose God, our lives will be well.

We will have a comfortable, trouble-free middle class life.

The lie is twofold.

We cannot choose God.

God chooses.

And, when we live awakened, we will have no beige middle class life.

Did the Christ have a house?

With a swimming pool,  three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a recently mowed lawn and a lounge decorated with the latest bland fashion furniture from Boardman’s?

Did he drive a late-model Ford or Chevrolet 4-door sedan?

Did he have medicare?

And insurance?

And a pension fund?

Not according to the Scriptures the blasphemous liars suggest to preach.

The spiritual life is empty of middle class comfort.

It is filled with loss.

It is marked by rejection.

The Christ lost Divinity.

The Christ was crucified.

The Creator was rejected by the crown of creation, cosmic moments after He breathed life into being.

How dare they enlist the Origin of life and being in their blasphemous lie of modernist Western success?

Don’t believe the lie.

A life alongside our Origin, like a tree planted on the edge of a river, is not a life of being served.

It is not a life of power or influence.

It is a life without a home.

A life in which you will be rejected by all those who you ever hoped would love you.

Abandoned, to exist on the fringe of society, misunderstood and unappreciated.

This is the truth.
